Advised sports event management company PONT3 for the Sydney Marathon candidacy to the World Marathon Majors. This required negotiation of a range of event management, event licence, event funding, and corporate contracts with Athletics Australia, Destination NSW, Swiss media, and sports company, Infront Sports & Media AG.
The Sydney Marathon is now in the candidacy program for the World Marathon Majors to join events of the calibre of the London, Berlin, New York, Boston, Chicago and Tokyo Marathons as a designated World Marathon Major event.
