Administration Assistant|Canberra

The role

We are advocates for flexibility and this role can be full time or part time depending on your availability, and suitability for the position.

You will be a part of our professional administrative team, who assist each other in delivering Moulis Legal’s corporate support function.

In this in-person role, you will be the face of our Canberra office as you greet visitors, field telephone inquiries, support an effectively operating workplace, and provide general office and administrative assistance to our team members.

Other specific duties include:

  • Receptionist and telephone duties
  • Providing general administrative support to the lawyers on an ad hoc basis
  • Coordinating the paralegals’ roster
  • Liaising with building management and relevant suppliers on office maintenance
  • Managing office supplies
  • Coordinating incoming mail and outgoing mail delivery
  • Assisting with meeting set up including technology troubleshooting
  • Organising internal social events and communications


About you

We are looking for an administration assistant with:

  • 2+ years demonstrated experience in a similar role and in a high functioning office
  • strong interpersonal skills with a professional phone manner and work ethic
  • excellent organisational and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Microsoft office suite and Adobe PDF proficiency
  • comfortable with navigating new systems and willing to learn
  • enthusiasm for a collaborative team environment
