Moulis Legal is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeannette Scott, Consultant Counsel – Privacy and Regulatory, and Dorothy Terwiel, Senior Associate in our IP and Commercialisation team. Partner, Shaun Creighton commented:
We are delighted to welcome two accomplished lawyers to our growing practice. Our clients will benefit from their depth of experience in a broad range of areas including privacy, regulation, ICT contracting and government procurement matters. Jeannette brings significant experience in the not-for-profit sector, enabling us to expand on the expertise we provide to our NFP clients. Dorothy brings significant ICT contracting and government procurement experience, expanding our capability and capacity in these areas, including under the Commonwealth Government legal services multi use list. Moulis Legal acts for a number of NFP clients and clients requiring ICT contracting expertise. Our existing and future clients will greatly benefit from the addition of Jeannette and Dorothy to our team.
Jeannette has over 15 years’ legal and regulatory experience, having held senior legal and regulatory roles at the National Heart Foundation and ADMA (the Association for Data-driven Marketing and Advertising). Jeannette is well placed to advise on all aspects of privacy, data protection, consumer laws and related regulatory requirements.
Jeannette’s experience expands on the Moulis Legal expertise when advising clients in a range of regulated industries.
Dorothy comes to Moulis Legal with over 15 years’ experience as a commercial lawyer at some of Australia’s largest law firms. During that time, Dorothy has worked on a wide range of information and communications technology (ICT) projects, acting at times for the Commonwealth Government and at other times for ICT vendors.
Dorothy’s ICT contracting and procurement experience extends to drafting, negotiating and advising on a range of hardware, software, data centre and telecommunications procurements for a number of Commonwealth entities and non-corporate Commonwealth entities.
Dorothy has previously undertaken secondments to Commonwealth entities and non-corporate Commonwealth entities to work on large scale ICT procurements. This experience bolsters the Moulis Legal team which provides ICT contracting advice and services to our government and ICT vendor clients.
