Moulis Legal is pleased to announce the appointment of Shaun Creighton as a partner in the firm.

Shaun is perfectly matched with our commercial+international philosophy. He brings new expertise and new energy in high-level procurement matters, brands and distribution, and intellectual property rights.

Principal Partner Daniel Moulis commented:

Mr Creighton is an experienced commercial and intellectual property lawyer with significant experience in ICT contracting and in the commercialisation and protection of intellectual property rights. He is transitioning to Moulis Legal from his present positions as Senior Legal Counsel at Airservices Australia, and as Director/Lawyer at his own specialist IP rights focused law firm, ARETE Group, where he acts for some of Australia’s best known brands. He has also been in-house legal counsel with organisations such as the Australian Sports Commission and the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games Corporation.

As well as bringing his own suite of clients into the firm, Mr Creighton will offer new service lines to Moulis Legal’s existing blue-chip client base in Australia and internationally.

In Mr Creighton's own words:

Commercial transactions, in both the private sector and for government agencies, are increasingly rights-driven, and increasingly international. My appointment to Moulis Legal broadens the expertise and the excellence we can deliver to our clients. It opens up new opportunities for us to handle national and international brands and distribution work, government procurement, IP/ICT matters, and a full suite of trade mark services from application to prosecution. This is an excellent fit for our clients now and into the future. I am delighted to be joining such a progressive and well-regarded law firm.
